I have nearly 20 years of professional event planning experience and it was a lifelong dream of mine to own and operate a venue. I discovered Sacred Sands thru planning my own Joshua Tree wedding. I toured many venues and saw ways I could improve them to the point I knew I had to acquire a venue of my own. Sacred Sands is a hallowed place I have venerated for many years and am so blessed to now call my own. I'm known for being able to work with anyone. I'm very detail oriented and production minded. We welcome everyone under the sun and we hope to have the pleasure of hosting your wedding or event!

Resting upon the rugged borders of the Joshua Tree, Sacred Sands is a boutique desert retreat welcoming weddings in California. The venue is an architectural gem that is attractive and luxurious whilst working in harmony with its wild surroundings. Its experienced team of staff ensures that the needs of wedding parties are catered to from start to finish. Sacred Sands is an ideal choice for style-conscious couples who wish for a tasteful wedding location that combines stunning natural beauty with modern amenities.
Facilities and Capacity
Sacred Sands is a triumph of contemporary architecture, effortlessly echoing its rugged environs whilst conjuring a chic, modern atmosphere. Inside dark sand-worn woods and Moroccan textures combine with polished concrete floors and adobe-style strawbale-constructed walls. The effect is sparse and minimalist in design, yet rich in texture and deep in its natural color palette. Couples can exchange vows in the property’s ceremony circle, with the craggy hills of the protected Mojave as their backdrop. This boho chic space can accommodate an extensive guest list of 100 loved ones and can feature an iron or deadwood arbor to frame the ceremony. As night falls the courtyard provides an exceptional reception space, lit by the faint rays of the setting sun and tasteful string lighting so couples don't have to worry about renting any lighting. There is also a cocktail patio with firepits, wine barrel Adirondack chairs, and a stylish outdoor bar. Sacred Sands also has a large indoor ballroom with a fireplace and indoor bar, perfect for dancing with no dance floor required.
Sacred Sands is an exclusive venue, and features four stylish rooms for guests to experience. They feature outdoor terraces, deluxe linens, coffee/tea, mini-fridges, robes/slippers, and outdoor tubs and showers along with private stargazing beds. There is an emphasis on Zen and relaxation throughout the property, and as such there are no televisions in the rooms. Instead, guests are invited to listen to our records or switch off and enjoy their time in the calm stillness of the Joshua trees. There is ample parking available on-site (45 spots with parking attendant included).
Services Offered
The staff of Sacred Sands draws on 35+ years of combined events experience to ensure the success of each big day they host. They offer event planning services which include the ala carte organization of outside vendors if required by couples. The staff is happy to provide a catalog of furniture rentals including tables, chairs, ceremony runner rugs, mason jars, beer/wine, climate control, draping, and more!
